checks and balances
We continue to have good partnership arrangements in place to provide effective checks and balances on the way that we work with our employees.
We have a long-term relationship with our trades union Unite of which 34% of our employees are members. They perform a number of valuable roles in our organisation around collective bargaining on remuneration, are core members of the CSR committee and are actively consulted on major decisions within the organisation.
We also have a Management Consultative Forum, which is an internal board of elected volunteers that collectively represents grade six and above employees (middle to senior management).
