How did we meet our targets in 2012?

In 2012 the Group CSR committee set a number of public commitments to improve our environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.

The way that we set these are that they through a combination of targets that:

  • must stretch us but be within reach for management.
  • directly support our campaigns.
  • respond to external feedback on our performance gaps or opportunities.
  • respond to internal business demands of what is right or where we have material risks to resolve.

We are pleased to report that of the 21 public targets we set in 2012, more than 80% are on track.
