Continue to improve data collection, management and interpretation and build expertise to reduce further energy use and landfill waste to run our portfolio of commercial properties. Specifically to reduce the energy used in the top 30 buildings accounting for 80% of energy use by 3%.

In the year to April 2011 properties that LGP was responsible for generated 15,000 tonnes of CO2.

Bill Hughes via Debra Hobbs

We are 9 months into the target and will provide the performance data in July 2013. Early indications are that we will meet this target

We have implemented in a new monitoring and targeting system which enables us to

  • Produce ‘exception reporting’ at a site level
  • Produce regular reports at asset level , of performance against targets in energy, water, waste and carbon
  • Allow tenants to see energy data as required
  • Use live public displays of energy performance and energy generated from renewables as appropriate – ie: shopping centres and major managed offices
The new system will be run in parallel to the existing system until the end of Q1 2013, when the first regular, new format, quarterly reports will be produced. These will include utility performance against targets, as well as information on biodiversity plans, tenant liaison and community involvement.

From 2013 LGP will set and report on targets, across the whole portfolio.%
